The turbo outlet hose connects the turbo pipe to the intercooler. The stock pipe is made from rubber and is prone to leaks and cracks. More importantly it is prone to harmonics which create vortices at different pressure waves, to do its lack of stiffness and is a bottleneck in the standard system due to its thickness and smaller internal diameter. This creates an artificial airflow cap at higher RPM and higher boost levels, which in turn hinders engine performance.
